Mr. Amaechi’s screening was deferred three times as he faces opposition from the Peoples Democratic Party’s caucus in the Senate, particularly the three senators from his Rivers State who submitted petitions against him.
On Thursday, 22nd of October, the ex-governor was confirmed a minister after questioning by the senators.
